1981 Chevrolet Malibu – Modified Street/Strip Project – 454 with a B&M Blower – Racing Trans w/ 1800 Stall Converter Zero Miles on Engine & Trans - 4 point roll cage - Fiberglass racing bucket seats with new/never used seat covers -RCI 5 point safety harness for driver - Hurst Quarter Stick shifter - Fiberglass Cowl Induction Hood using factory hood latch no hood pins - Rebuilt front suspension with Lakewood Drag Shocks - Custom 4 core radiator - New dual exhaust with dual catalytic converters and Flowmaster mufflers - Posi rear with 3:73 gears. Exterior: The body is in good shape. Other than ‘parking lot’ dings, the only exterior dent is on the forward edge of the drivers door . No apparent rust through on any part of the body, but the bottom edges of the doors have been repaired nicely. The quarters are untouched and solid. Trunk floor and frame rust free. The doors don’t sag; all the glass, lenses and grill are good. The paint is typical 80’s GM quality. The rims and tires are okay: they are not a matching set but they do hold air and seem to be free of dry rot. Interior: The dashboard is nice; no cracks in the dash pad and has factory gauges as well. There is no headliner in the car. Has an aftermarket radio but the bezel appears not to have been cut.
