This is an all original 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe with the HIGHLY desirable 390 GT FE Big Block motor (325 Horse Power! In a classic that weighs 2,900 lbs!! from the factory...now that is fun!). This car has a new heavy duty C-6 transmission and the Motor is fairly new at about 25,000 miles. The rear end is currently 4.10:1 but the original "D" code rear is for 9" 3.25:1. I have the original "pumpkin" section so it can all be put back ...trust me you'll like the 4.10's but you can have the 3.25 if you want. According to "Mustang by the Numbers" by Kevin Marti there were only 8,630 out of 356,326 coups that had this option....that comes to ONLY 2% folks!! As for the 390 automatic in coups (that includes the GT optioned cars) only 4,403 out of 356,326 coups came this way...that is only 1%...as you can see ...this is only two of MANY rare options this car has. The extraordinary thing is all these rare options are on ONE car...the list of options are as follows "S" code 390 FE big block, "U" heavy duty C-6 transmission, "D" 3.25:1 9" rear end, POWER Disk breaks, Deluxe chrome steel style wheels, POWER steering, Tilt/Swing steering wheel, Deluxe brushed aluminum interior, BOTH upper and lower Consoles, FACTORY TACHOMETER, Deluxe Exterior package which includes turn signal hood, pop open gas cap, and chrome trim around the trunk, wheel wells, and kick boards. This is not a complete list of options but it is the ones most asked about when selling the car. The Car is RUST FREE in DRY WEST COLORADO. The car is currently a wine color (similar to Merlot) but original color was Vintage Burgundy. The interior is brand new black deluxe interior. I have installed a CD player inside of the console (behind the sliding door) so that I didn't have to cut the dash, left the knob style radio in the car just so it looks good, have a remote to control radio and CD-changer mounted in the trunk. The stereo goes with the car since I made it nearly impossible to steal..and very hard to get out even when you do know how to take it out (but still possible if you want to take out).
